Hi, I'm Shan.

Thank you for visiting my shop and taking the time to find out a little bit about me and my journey into designing and creating beautiful and unique jewellery.

This little story has its beginnings about 15 years ago making beaded jewellery as a way to relax after leaving a highly stressful career.
I saw an ad for a jewellery making course at the local TAFE college & knew it was something I would love to learn. I was lucky enough to have been taught by the very talented jeweller Liz Gardener on the basics of silversmithing.
I fell in love with it, but unfortunately still had to pay the bills, so it was just a small hobby for a while. I’d sell at markets but didn’t really have enough time to create as much as I wanted or needed to keep up with the demand, as I had just started up another small business working for myself & the jewellery making took a back seat for a number of years. 

IMG_0165.JPGA few years ago I decided to slow down and follow my desire to create, spend more time on refining my art and studying different techniques. In 2021 I was lucky enough to undertake a two-day workshop with the esteemed jeweller, John MacAleer, who is the creator of the Immunity Pins for Masterchef and in 2022 I won First Prize for my entry in Royal Melbourne Show with a Black Druzy Pendant I called "Evolution." and another first in Geelong Show with a very large bold Labradorite Pendant called "Transformation," which at the time of writing this is still available in the pendants section.

So now here I am, fulfilling my passion of creating classic, bold and unique jewellery that will last a lifetime.
I treasure this opportunity and consider myself very lucky that I am able to follow my dreams, to keep learning and doing what I love every day.

But of course the thing that gives me the biggest thrill is when a customer (maybe you) loves one of my creations enough to purchase it. Because what you're purchasing is actually a piece of time in my life and something that is made with a whole lot of passion, which I hope shows through in every piece.
